Synopsis: Nick, a single, Italian-American marketing executive from New Jersey, routinely visits his four grandparents every Sunday for family dinner since his parents retired and moved to Florida. As their only close relative, Nick’s grandparents inundate him with family tradition and lots of food. When Nick announces he is being promoted and moving to Seattle, his grandparents are devastated and quickly concoct a series of hilarious schemes to keep Nick from leaving, including introducing him to the woman of his dreams.

Frank Gianelli | 70s+ or Able to age up | Nick’s maternal grandfather. Italian-American. He immigrated to the U.S. from Italy at age fourteen. He can be stubborn at times. He is a bit on the cranky side. Family means everything to him. |
Aida Gianelli | 70s+ or Able to age up | Nick’s maternal grandmother. She is a typical Italian-American NJ nonna who believes that all problems can be solved by food. She can be argumentative at times. Family means everything to her. |
Nunzio Cristano | 70s+ or Able to age up | Nick’s paternal grandfather. Italian-American. He worked hard all his life to provide for his family. He is the loud fun Italian grandpa whose grandson is everything to him. He is sick but doesn’t want to tell Nicholas. |
Emma Cristano | 70s+ or Able to age up | Nick’s maternal grandmother. She loves her family and her casinos in Atlantic City. She is loud, boisterous, enthusiastic, energetic, pushy, sassy, and a bit tactless at times. |
Caitlin O’Hare | 20’s – 30’s | A single Irish-American nurse, attractive and charming. Kind, smart and sweet, but very principled. |
