This “turbulent and gutsy play”
shows a group of WWII American prisoners lodged in a German
prison camp, trying to escape, to embarrass and irritate their
captors. The plot evolves around the escape of an American who
will face serious punishment for sabotaging a train, and fellow
prisoners who hide him. They learn that one of them is a German
infiltrator impersonating as a prisoner. A true ensemble piece
that is suspenseful, humorous and exciting! |

Greg and Kate have moved to Manhattan after
twenty-two years of child-raising in the suburbs.
Greg's career as a financial trader is winding down,
while Kate's career, as a public school English
teacher, is beginning to offer her more
opportunities. Greg brings home a dog he found in
the park--or that has found him--bearing only the
name "Sylvia" on her name tag. A street-smart
mixture of Lab and Poodle, Sylvia becomes a major
bone of contention between husband and wife. She
offers Greg an escape from the frustrations of this
job and the unknowns of middle age. To Kate, Sylvia
becomes a rival for affection. And Sylvia thinks
Kate just doesn't understand the relationship
between man and dog. The marriage is put in serious
jeopardy until, after a series of hilarious and
touching complications, Greg and Kate learn to
compromise, and Sylvia becomes a valued part of
their lives

If you thought you knew the story of "The
Princess and The Pea," you may be in for a
walloping surprise! Did you know, for instance,
that Princess Winnifred actually swam the moat
to reach Prince Dauntless the Drab? Or that Lady
Larken's love for Sir Harry provided a rather
compelling reason that she reach the bridal
altar post haste? Or that, in fact, it wasn't
the pea at all that caused the princess a
sleepless night? Carried on a wave of wonderful
songs, by turns hilarious and raucous, romantic
and melodic, this rollicking spin on the
familiar classic of royal courtship and
comeuppance provides for some side-splitting
shenanigans. Chances are, you'll never look at
fairy tales quite |
Mortimer Brewster is about to have the most confusing day of his life: Philanthropic aunties Abby and Martha have been helping lonesome bachelors with a family recipe, his brother "Teddy" won't quit blowing his bugle, another brother-turned-mass-murderer and his unusual assistant have taken up residence in the Brewster ladies' house with a cadaver! Between fending off clueless cops, venomous villains and frazzled fiancee Elaine, it's no wonder Mortimer winds up crazed and crosseyed. |
