Casting Call

MRS. BOB CRATCHIT’S WILD CHRISTMAS BINGE

by Christopher Durang

Directed by
Walter H. Placzek

The show is an outrageous take-off of Dickens’ traditional A Christmas Carol. A sassy yet throughly addled ghost attempts to lead Scrooge down the usual path to redemption, only to be confounded by a dizzying array of madcap complications, including encounters with Oliver Twist, Leona Helmsley, Enron executives, and Clarence the Guardian Angel. Add a saucy Mrs. Cratchit tired of twenty brats in the root cellar and the sickeningly sweet Tiny Tim, and the happy Christmas tale unfolds like you’ve never seen it before.

Readings will be done from the script. Some singing will be needed in performance. Newcomersa re welcome.Full rehearsals will not begin until mid-June.
